TAS Land is a place that transcends all description and extends the imagination. Forget all you know about physics and science. What is impossible in many places, becomes the common and everyday here. Forget all you believe to be right and natural, for the line between magic and reality is blurred beyond distinction in this place. Some call it a fairy land; others call it pure hellish chaos. The truth is it’s neither, it’s both….It is TAS Land.
In TAS Land, there is no dominant creature or being. You’re just as likely to see an angel as you are a talking donkey, or anything between the two. There is no knowing who is friendly or who is downright evil just based on appearance. For this reason, there is usually a kind of respect for all creatures that inhabit this land. You never know when you might offend the gentlest of beings and raise a mass genocide to your species.
This hardly means that life in TAS Land is peaceful and calm. Within the city, just as any other city, there is crime. Murders, deaths, kidnappings all happen in the dark alleyways. If you’re lucky, you won’t be killed for some gang’s initiation ceremony. The safest place to be is actually also one of the most dangerous places. TAS Corp. can act as a great haven for those seeking sanctuary, but it can also be more terrifying than anything found out on the streets.
This is what it means to be a denizen of TAS, for the land is one thing if nothing else, a land of chaotic contradictions.
Creatures and beings are incredibly diverse within TAS Land. There are many creatures that are common in myths and legends, such as vampires and fairies. Then there are also creatures that come from a sole person’s imagination. It is actual very rare that two of the exact same creature exists here. While more than one person may have the species of a fairy, the actual description of the two may be very far from any kind of semblance. As a result there is no set list of creatures or beings, nor is there a set list of powers or abilities each creature has. What you play and how you play it is purely up to you.
Many creatures have powers and abilities beyond that of a normal human. Angels may have the power to heal. Demons may have the power to shapeshift. While it is totally up to you to decide upon which powers and abilities to have, your creature can have no more than three different powers or abilities. However, if a power or ability is part of your creature’s description than it doesn’t count to the three. Example: if your creature has wings, it’s assumed they can fly.
